There is a misconception out there that people at the very expanded Terrains—such as the Fractal-Based Terrain (Toroid) or the Unity-Based Terrain (Infinity)—are 'enlightened' and that therefore they are somehow 'perfect'. It is assumed that these people never get triggered or lose their center or act out or even have a bad hair day. This is simply not true. People at the most expanded Terrains are still human. They still have their childhood conditioning, and their emotional wounding and their buttons and their blind spots. They can still lose their temper or over-react when they are triggered. At times, they may get taken over by their pain-body, their shadow or their ego. They may sometimes be run by internally created thought-forms and entities and even by inter-dimensional interference. They may even have a few regressive behaviours in areas where there is very strong collective conditioning, such as sex or money. They can get irritable. They can make bad choices. They are HUMAN.  The difference between someone being 'human' at a contracted Terrain and someone being 'human' at a more expanded Terrain is that when a person at Toroid or Infinity gets triggered or taken over, it is very noticeable. Their actions can seem completely out of character. They will transform from their usually centered, neutral, humble, totally self-responsible, loving self into what can feel like a completely different person. This can be a very jarring experience for those who are around them. In contrast, when a person is at a more contracted Terrain, they tend to be generally less neutral and less self-responsible in their everyday life. They tend to believe their own thoughts and stories. They have done less work on their shadow and their triggers. They have more conditioning operating. Therefore, people at the more contracted Terrains are spending much more time out of their centre—and acting from their “not Self”—than are people at Toroid or Infinity. Therefore, when we are with people at the more contracted Terrains, we expect them to have their stories, their limiting beliefs, their buttons, and their wounding. We expect them to act out to some degree. You have probably come to subconsciously expect this of people as you move through the world, and indeed you probably don't even notice it. But when a person at Toroid or Infinity—who is usually a very self-aware, neutral channel for Infinite Consciousness, showing up in pure Service, as a non-attached Witness—suddenly starts believing what their mind is telling them and starts acting out, it can be a big shock to those around them. The other difference here is that when a person at a more contracted Terrain gets triggered, they will usually blame the world around them. They will believe the stories that their mind is telling them. Often the belief or wound will fester until an illness or a life crisis finally forces them to look at it. In contrast, when a person at a more expanded Terrain such as Toroid or Infinity gets triggered, they will usually become aware of it quite quickly, and will be able to bring themselves back to neutral fairly soon after. They are deeply aware of their “not-Self” and its power to separate them from All That Is. They will usually take full responsibility for what happened, make amends, and take effective steps to clear whatever it was in them that activated, so that they can become an even more neutral conduit for the Divine. Many people yearn to be at an expanded Terrain, thinking that it will just be all bliss and 'kumbaya'. Oh how wonderful it would be to be 'enlightened' or to 'ascend' and never have to deal with all this human stuff again! However, in reality, the complete opposite is true. At the most expanded Terrains, such as Toroid or Infinity, you are working much harder than everyone else. You are ever vigilant of your thoughts, your emotions, your wounding, your conditioning, your ego, your shadow, and all the pulls and clutches of the not-Self. You are making a continual, moment-to-moment choice to stay in a state of Love. Do not kid yourself that this is an easy path! It is a tireless and relentless one. There is no one and no thing outside yourself that you can blame. You know that it is ALL you, and that you need to own ALL of it. So the next time you meet or hear about someone at a very expanded Terrain, instead of holding them to an impossible standard of sainthood, spare a thought for their humanity. They have their bad hair days, just like you do!
